Barn Coats for Molten Metal Splash Protection
- Outer layer constructed using 10oz HRC1 inherent flame-resistant (IFR) Oasis™1000 which was designed specifically to shed molten metal
- Comfortable to wear with a warm, soft interior layer of 10.75oz HRC2 navy fleece
- Inherently flame-resistant (IFR) and will not burn, melt, or drip
- 360° collar provides critical protection from molten pops and splashes as well as blustery winds
- Two inside chest pockets large enough for most cell phones
- Twaron® knit wrist with thumb hole provides cut protection (A2) and locks the sleeve in place so it does not ride up the arm and expose the wrists to hazards or weather
- Available in navy or orange
Barn Coats for Arc Flash Protection
- Outer layer constructed using 7oz HRC2 inherent flame-resistant (IFR) Tecasafe® Plus 700, a blend of FR Modacrylic, Lyocell, and Aramid. This fabric is designed specifically for professionals that may be exposed to arc flash and flash fire.
- Comfortable to wear with a warm, soft interior layer of 10.75oz HRC2 navy fleece
- Inherently flame-resistant (IFR) and will not burn, melt, or drip
- Two inside chest pockets large enough for most cell phones
- Hemmed sleeves have an adjustable strap to help keep out the wind
- Available in navy, orange, or hi-vis yellow
Barn Coats for IFR Welding Protection
- Outer layer constructed using 8.5oz HRC1 inherent flame-resistant (IFR) Barrweld™ in wine or lime/green
- Both fabrics are an intimate blend of 60% Lenzing FR™and 40% Twaron®. This fabric is tightly woven to create a smooth surface and engineered to shed weld spatter and resist pinholes.
- Comfortable to wear with a warm, soft Interior layer of 10.75oz HRC2 navy fleece
- Inherently flame-resistant (IFR) and will not burn, melt, or drip
- 360° collar provides critical protection from weld splatter as well as blustery winds
- Two inside chest pockets large enough for most cell phones
- Black Twaron® knit wrist with thumb hole provides cut protection (A2) locking the sleeve in place so it does not ride up the arm and expose the wrist to hazards and weather
- Several welding fabrics, in different weights and colors, are available to customize your own barn jacket and match the specific threat
