Whether your team member needs protection while handling glass, welding automotive parts, or working near molten metal, the high-performance pants and chaps from Tri-Star will keep them safe from threats associated with these industries. All of our pants and chaps are made with inherent flame-resistant fabrics that will not burn, melt, or drip.
Over Pants:
Meant to be worn over team wear or street clothes, over pants are a cost-effective way to protect team members from the hazards of the job. They can be designed with an elastic at the ankle, or hook and loop from the ankle up just below the knee. This allows the team member to don the over pants without removing their footwear. They are lightweight, comfortable, and customizable. These over pants can be made using any one of our high-performance, inherent flame-resistant fabrics to protect from:
- Cuts and punctures (fabrics range from cut level A2 – A6, puncture level 2-5)
- Weld splatter (fabrics range in weight from 7oz to 10oz in several colors)
- Molten metal splash (10oz Oasis in navy and orange)
- Arc flash (7oz Tecasafe Plus in navy and orange)
Pants:
Worn in place of team wear or street clothes, our pants are lightweight, comfortable, and customizable. To accommodate various body shapes, we offer our pants in waist sizes 26 to 58 and will hem them to the desired length. Our pants can be made using almost any of our high-performance, inherent flame-resistant fabrics to protect from:
- Weld splatter (fabrics range in weight from 7oz to 10oz in several colors)
- Molten metal splash (10oz Oasis in navy and orange)
- Arc flash (7oz Tecasafe Plus in navy and orange)
Chaps:
Worn over team wear, chaps are a cost-effective way to protect team members from the hazards of the job. They are lightweight, comfortable, easily donned and doffed, and customizable. Our chaps can be made using any one of our high-performance, inherent flame-resistant fabrics to protect from:
- Cuts and punctures (fabrics range from cut level A2 – A6, puncture level 2-5)
- Weld splatter (fabrics range in weight from 7oz to 10oz in several colors)
- Molten metal splash (14oz and 19oz aluminized para-aramid/OPF as well as 10oz Oasis in navy and orange)
